Cleaning Both buildings have their own equipment: kitchens, fridges, washing facilities and vacuum cleaners. Users are trusted to leave the property clean and graffiti free when they leave.

Catering equipment Crockery, cutlery and catering equipment is provided. Please check inventories before you leave and advise & pay Warden for breakages.

 

Sleeping 20 bunks in three dormitories (8,6 & 6 bedded)

Bunks are supplied with a mattress, with a waterproof cover.

Lounge/Dining Room

complete with easy chairs & collapsible tables.

Kitchen 6 ring gas cooker & oven (please use extractor fan over cooker to keep condensation down) Large fridge freezer, hot water boiler, large microwave and toaster. No extra charge for gas.

Power: Currently (no pun intended!) £1 coin meters for all electric power in the House (lighting and the Fridge / Freezer are inclusive of the hire fee). Gas central heating is also inclusive, but electric heaters on walls are available for those really chilly days.

Toilets: Ladies room with toilet & shower, Special needs room with toilet & shower; male: 2 toilets, three showers.

Drying room Yes. Large industrial coin-operated tumble drier and wooden drying racks. Tables not being used should also be stored in this room.

Fire alarm for the House with master control at foot of stairs.

As with all premises in the UK, smoking is NOT permitted in the buildings. Leaders are asked to ensure their group understand the evacuation instructions & collection points (displayed in each room).
